There is a company in Utah (Showcase Hotrods and Customs) that will install the system for about $6,000. The system costs about $5,000 for a fiberglass version ($1,000 more for carbon fiber). Ford rejected the original prototype back in the mid-60s. Power Window Kit, Front & Rear, 1969-70 Ford Mustang Coupe/Hardtop & Convertible only. The system was originally developed by Ben Smith for Ford. We do not need to extend the trunk, but we cheat forward to just aft of the rear seat to create a trunk lid that is large enough for the new top.
